Smartphones and tablets are widely used for image capture in everyday working life. However, security risks are often underestimated, and work efficiency overlooked.

The IMS Mobile Capture App offers mobile image capturing with direct and secure transfer to the central IMS database and thus enables seamless work on the office workstation.

Positioning and image acquisition, a matter of seconds

With the Mobile Capture App, you have direct access to your Imagic IMS database including easy positioning (manually or automatically through barcode reading). The images are stored systematically after their acquisition and can be managed seamlessly from processing to reporting and storage.

Transmit metadata efficiently 

You can also label and comment on the images captured with the IMS Mobile Capture App and include additional information with the picture as required. For further simplification, you can also provide several acquired images with additional information at the same time. It goes without saying that the Imagic IMS Mobile Capture App stores all EXIF-data of the acquired images in the IMS database, if required.

Images automatically calibrated 

Optionally, you can have your images calibrated automatically as you acquire them. This enables you to measure on your captured images seamlessly and comfortably at the office workstation.

Data security guaranteed

Data security and integrity are in focus everywhere today, especially where data is generated and transferred. In the software architecture of the IMS Mobile Capture App special attention was paid to data security.

For example, your mobile recorded image data is never stored in the private photo gallery of the device. Also, thanks to encrypted transmission your images and associated metadata will not only be transferred quickly but also securely to the IMS database.

The app can also be managed by a mobile device management system and offers a simple, central way of rolling out the IMS Mobile Capture App within your company.
