If the achievable depth of field is insufficient for your requirements, you can extend it with the IMS module Multifocus. For reflections on the sample, the HDR module helps you to create an image with optimized contrasts. For samples with both illumination and depth of field problems, these two imaging techniques can also be combined.

As an example, a macro bright field illumination, which is distinguished by a uniform light field and which is particularly suitable for illuminating reflecting and mirroring surfaces, such as non-etched sections. Acquired images are thus much more homogeneous, more detailed and less error-prone for image processing.
